Apple Pencil Lightning Adapter came out

Hello!


I’ve used my apple pencil for no longer then a year I would assume? (I got it during Christmas, possibly in 2021..?) After not even a month during that time, I noticed cracks at the white plastic near the adapter. I was a little concerned considering it shouldn’t be normal, and next morning of that day the whole lighting adapter came out. I was shocked, especially cause these are expensive. I seriously don’t have the money to pay for it, which is really sad.. is there anything I can do without paying possibly?

Given your description, cracks in the Pencil casing - around the Lightning connector - might reasonably suggest that the connector has been unduly stressed when connecting or disconnecting from the iPad or charger.


If your Pencil is within its one-year limited warranty, you might explore your options at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store. You will need your original sales invoice as proof of purchase and warranty entitlement.
