i work outside and while my phone is in my pocket it rattles around. how do i keep my screen dark so that i don't disable my phone by entering the code in wrong too many times. i also butt dial people quiet often because i think i locked my phone but didn't.

Turn off Tap to Wake in Accessibility.
Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Tap or Swipe to Wake
Turn it off and your phone won't wake jostling around in your pocket. You will need to use the side power button to wake your screen, however.

Maybe use a folio style case if you manage to still cause your phone to butt dial (also just making sure it’s locked before putting it in your pocket will help).
