Ken Burns & Classic ScreenSavers no longer working?

I have a brand new, MacBook Air (2022, M2). When I go to System Preferences, Display, Screensaver, & click on Ken Burns, then on the right hand side, the only "Source" option is "Colors" or my own photos. So are just beautiful, nature photos no longer a Screensaver option at all?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4

macOS 12.1 desktop background and screensaver I've been waiting for the Monterrey fix for the photos screensaver issue, so was excited to see 12.1 available with said fix. Very disappointed now though, as it's worse than it was before. Not only does the screensaver not show photos, changing of the desktop background has the same problem as well. The photo thumbnails do not appear on either background of screensaver settings panels, well most of the time. I did see the thumbnails twice. Anyone else seeing this?

Screensaver changes won't save Sounds similar to this issue: Screen saver won't change - Apple Community, but none of the suggestions there worked for me. No matter which screensaver I choose it reverts to Flurry. 2019 Macbook Pro Ventura 13.2

Big Sur Screen Saver not showing photo library nor source menu, it’s gone Photo library is showing for desktop as a selection, but in screensaver no matter what you select on the left is the type of screen saver on the right the source menu doesn’t even show, and unable to select photo library or anything else. I can only use the default Apple screensavers. Sometimes you open Photos app and some updating to library occurs and fixes the problem, but have already tried this, restarting the computer, and a parameter RAM reset ( command - option - P – R ). I pray someone knows how to fix this and bring back the source menu that has completely disappeared. Best, Seth

I just checked my M1 MacBook Air and Colors, Choose Folder… and Photo Library… seem to be the only options.
