Security/Registration Apps - iPhone 14 Pro Max & QR codes

Having problems with LOTS of different Security/Registration Apps that require a QR code to register. I just migrated from an iPhone 11 Pro to iPhone 14 Pro Max. However thus far on mulitiple websites I am unable to get the iPhone 14 Pro Max able to register a QR code - if I get the phone close enough to "fill the box" in the app (e.g. Okta, DUO) the camera is too close and blurry so it won't read the code. Thus far I've been having to use a 2nd phone, take a photo, then enlarge the photo and snapshot that. Suggestions?

Hello Dan,

To help troubleshoot the QR code not being read as expected, test after restarting your iPhone and ensuring iOS is updated:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, or 13

Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

iOS 16.0.2 is the latest version of iOS. You can tap Settings > General > Software Update to check for an update.
