Apple tv + subscription not showing up on roku?

Family member has an apple tv + subscription through a t-mobile promotion. My apple id is also hooked to that subscription via family sharing. The subscription is showing up on my ios devices. However, when I log into the app on my roku, it incorrectly says I don't have a subscription on my account. How do I get the subscription to show up on the roku?

I am only able to watch the first episode of shows and not able to access the Apple TV subscription. I am asked to signup for a 3 month trial rather than being able to watch the same shows I can watch on my phone. I am signed into the same Apple ID on the Apple TV Roku app as my iPhone, so no reason I shouldn’t be able to watch the same shows. I also confirmed family sharing is still turned on.

AppleTV+ on Roku I just purchased Roku for my son. I subscribe to AppleTV+ and he should have it through Family Sharing. When he signs in on the AppleTV+ app on Roku it doesn’t seem to recognize the family sharing and wants him to accept a free trial. If we try to accept the free trial it rejects it and says there is already a subscription through sharing. It puts us back to main screen and the only option is for the free trial again. He cannot access AppleTV+. Is there a solution?

Family sharing and Roku Related to this. Up until last night I've had no problems. Currently, in the Apple TV app on my Roku Ultra does not recognize that I have family sharing of my Apple One Premier plan. Specifically, if I sign in with my wife's apple ID, the Apple TV app prompts me to use Roku's three month free trial. If I sign in using my apple ID, all access is granted; everything is normal. The Apple TV app on my wife's phone recognizes the shared TV+ content normally. I have tried signing out of the Apple TV app and rebooting the Roku.

That is correct: you do not have that subscription on your account; only the original subscriber has that.

However, all group members of Apple Family Sharing can access this shared subscript content, as if they were subscribers themselves, each with their own preferences, queue list, recommendations, and individual watch history. Just go to the tv+ tab in the Apple TV app and select a show.
