It's time to replace your battery.

Batteries degrade over time with usage, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

Hi

Thanks for your reply

I have fiddled around and found if you use the find my phone app it must be turned off with the little asterisk beside the phone no being tracked…it appears to continue to keep tracking and uses up battery when I do this my battery capacity is vastly improved this may apply with other app using GPS tracking etc……..this may be a problem with my phone but it seems to have solved my problem
