Clipper card balance

If I’m no longer in San Francisco, is there a way to transfer the remaining balance from my clipper account to Apple Pay or something?

The info available only mentions that the balance will remain there until you set up your clipper card on a new phone.

I just upgraded and my clipper card is the only card that did not/will not transfer over... it is in previous cards, however when I have attempted to add it continue to give the same message: "the transit card service is currently unavailable. Try again in a few minutes or contact clipper customer service." I have contacted clipper but because my card was not registered (i guess) they cannot help me at all... I always loaded using apple pay and I can see the last 4-digits of the card... it has money on it and I would love to get it... help please

How can I track purchases with Apple Pay card numbers? I have read in the discussions about the changing card and virtual numbers which I have noticed too. It does make accounting more difficult and I can see why it makes returns more difficult or impossible. Is there a way to find out what the device card number is so I can at least see what I have purchased with the device and what I’ve purchased with the physical card?
