iPhone 14 pro max zooming glitch

I just got my IPhone 24 pro max 6 days ago it’s doing the same thing

Which would be expected as it's normal.

That’s where I got to as well. Just via a different route.

What I’d like to know now is if there are 3rd party apps that can clean this up. Smooth out the lens transitioning with a digital fix. That would be awesome.

At the very least it would be great to be able to lock the zoom so it stays in one lens.

It does somewhat if you tell Camera not to do automatic macro switching:

Sadly, you can't control whether the iPhone uses digital or optical zoom for 3x as light conditions change.

Guys, there is simple solution for that.

Tap Settings->Camera->Record Video. Then swipe down to the bottom and turn on Lock Camera.

That's it! No more glitch, jump etc while zooming.

Iphone doesn't switch lenses while zooming with this option on.

I got Iphone 14 Pro.

Which means it always uses digital zoom, which means much worse picture quality.

Better than nothing (or better than glitching). I think it's not so bad anyway.

I have an issue in my iPhone13 but not in ios camera it is in Instagram camera.

Whenever I drag zoom in with 1 finger I can’t zoom out with that holding finger really i am facing that problem from some weeks do anyone know how to fix it??
