Accidently deleted Facebook on my iPhone 8

My Facebook page froze so I deleted the app thinking I would just go to the App Store. When I find the Facebook App, all I see is "open and the share arrow". If I touch on "open" it opens my Facebook page but the app doesn't download so every time I want to access Facebook, I have to go to the app store and touch open. I shut down my phone and that fixes a lot of problems but not this one.
