I want to buy something and pick it up in a store, but I won't be in the area until next month. Is there a way to set a date a few weeks in the future for in-store pickup? I'm afraid it won't be available by the time I get there.

When choosing a product online / placing an order / etc., there is generally the option there to speak with a specialist.
(Sometimes it is as simple as clicking on a small round photo of the specialist.)
A specialist may be able to give more specific info. about your in-store pick-up in the particular country.
