Does Google Fi support eSIM on iPhone?

Find wireless carriers and worldwide service providers that offer eSIM service - Apple Support

Above is an Apple Support website. I can't find Google Fi in the list of 400 carriers. Google Fi supports ESIM, but they told me.

"I've checked with my resources and would like to inform you that the device iPhone 14 has not been listed with Google Fi. Please be informed that we would not be able to comment on the features of the iPhone device as it is not yet released on our website."

So I am going to assume it is a timing problem and purchase the Iphone 14 since the previous article shows someone who has tried it, and it works.

I did, they said ask Apple. Apple lists all the service providers, but I don't see Google FI on list, even though the points guy in this article says that it works
