Turn off Simple Passcode

I cannot turn off “Simple Passcode” on my watch. I want a longer passcode for my watch but it is forcing me to use 4 digits.

You can configure the watch's passcode either n the watch or in the Watch app on the paired phone. Have you tried both places?

Is this a personal phone and watch (vice on provided by school/employer)?

Hi! It’s my personal watch. This is what haps when I try to take off simple. Once I enter the passcode, it prompts me to change the code to another 4 digit code. That’s it. I just upgraded from a Apple Watch 4 series yesterday and had no prob until I got this series 8.
