i purchased a phone from a guy in a nearby city on a whim last night.
I'm sober now and realize it may be a lost/stolen phone.
police don't want it. what to do?
I want the owner to have their property, since i have been in this situation.
apple has no email.

That's so sad. I live near farms so the next police station is in another town lol! You would think Apple would have a phone rescue program with all this money (they get from us) and technology-instead of the old find my phone. ok. thank you Katana. I will just leave it on the wifi in case the owner looks for it, then i will toss it if nothing for a week. Have a wonderful weekend!!
Don't just toss it. It can be recycled at any Apple Store. You could take it there when you make your next trip to the big city...
