new iPhone 14 pro bluetooth issues

Just got a new iPhone 14 pro yesterday and it would not recognize any of my bluetooth items that I own. Went back to Verizon today and they couldn't help and replaced my new phone with another. The new phone will not recognize any of my bluetooth items either, however it will recognize bluetooth items that I don't own. Any suggestions would be welcomed as I have spent several hours trying to remedy this issue. Verizon said they have never heard of anyone ever having this issue and that I was the first, hard to believe. Thanks in advance!
