NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID-HSTS error

This error prevents me from accessing Wikipedia for example, and many other sites don't work. I am running El Cap

502 Bad Gateway Certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate i have a MacBook Pro with M2 chip. When trying to access some websites I get the following error message:- "502 Bad Gateway Certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate" I can access the sites from my iPad with no issue but always get the above when using my MacBook, irrespective of the Browser I use. I have installed the two Apple certs (A2 and A8) as per previous advice but without success. Any suggestions on how to resolve this irritating issue would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Comm error with a menu bar item This is the error message I received," communication with a menu bar application has failed." Looks like it has something to do with my AVAST VPN. Thanks Rick Hill
