Up until I changed to ios16 I was able to control the volume of my tv with the app on my iPhone. Now the app allows me to do all the function but the volume and mute button is greyed out.
The physical Apple Remote still works to control volume but the not off my iPhones App.
Why did this change what do I need to do to fix it?
The Mute button is functional for me in the software remote on iPhone with iOS 16.0.2, and Apple TV 4K with AV receiver.
I read a post here recently that suggested that invoking Siri through the side button may unlock volume controls in the software remote.
