My iPhone fell forcefully from my hand yesterday causing the back camera to stop working, even the flashlight isn’t coming on. What should I do? Is there a possibility that the camera is just malfunctioning due to the impact of the fall or is the camera broken?

That's pretty much the same thing. You have hardware damage, make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.
