Where can I find the status of my recovery Apple ID? I went to iforgot.apple.com but there is no way to check the status of the recovery. I even spoke to an apple support representative for 47 mins trying to fix said issue and even they weren’t able to help. It’s been 48 hours and nothing from apple was sent to “reset password”.
Carry around two phones (one for calls and one for applications) is getting ridiculous.

If you lost your Recovery Key
As long as you remember your Apple ID password and still have access to one of your trusted devices, you can sign in and create a new Recovery Key.
Keep your new Recovery Key in a safe place. Your old Recovery Key won't work anymore and you can't use it to reset your password or access your account.

Unfortunately I do not know the Apple ID password.
As much as this seems crazy for some reason my Apple ID is different than my
apple ID for my applications and subscriptions. Why I have no clue, neither did Apple support. The Apple ID that apparently I need to sign in for all of my apps and subscriptions is linked to an email account from 7+ years ago that I have no access to anymore.
that is the predicament I am currently in. I am Apple to sign into the Apple ID for all of my iCloud information, but my applications and subscriptions are apparently linked to a different Apple ID account that I have not used in many many years.
apple support told me to recover the old Apple ID and that it would take up to 48 hours which has come and gone with no link texted to me to reset password.
Weird I know but baffling.
