iPhone Xs Restarting problem

I currently have a problem with my iPhone Xs restarting multiple times in a row with no sign of stopping.

When I attempted to plug it in today (while the phone was at 0%), it started up for about 10 seconds before shutting down and then starting up again. This repeated itself before I unplugged it and it slowly lost enough battery to work. It seemed to restart faster and faster the longer I waited, in the end not even being able to show my provider or battery percentage.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
