Unable to log in onto iCloud through website

I am trying to get to my iCloud account, using Windows browsers (tried both Chrome and Firefox), and it won't let me. It keeps asking for my email but when I type in both of my @me.com or @icloud account names, it says " The application type specified is unacceptable."


I tried logging in using @me.com and @icloud.com as my IDs, and it didn't let me in either.

As a test, could you visit the Apple ID website with this same email account and see if it works? This way we can determine if this is a site-specific issue. Additionally, we'd recommend confirming - if possible - that the Apple ID that you're using is correct.
