cant use you apple id on this device
I'm trying to restore an older ipad. But went I try to log in it says I can not use my Apple ID on this device. It says it can only be used on devices running iOS 15.0 or later.

Do you happen to have iCloud+ on your Apple ID? Per the article here: System requirements for iCloud - Apple Support an iCloud+ subscription requires iOS 15 or later as a minimum:
"iCloud+
iCloud+ is available on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, Mac, PC, and web browsers.
- iOS 15 or iPadOS 15
- macOS Monterey"
If this isn't the case, contact Apple Support to look further into this with you.
