Books/Kindle/Kobo Books app in iPadOS 15.7 is broken

Since I updated my iPad to iPadOS15.7 all ebook reading apps are broken. They no longer show the book in two colums in landscape mode. Which makes reading in landscape harder.

This seems to happen with OS updates and the next update fixes things. But I hate to wait for the next update, if that will fix the issue.

Solved: iPadOS 16.1 fixed this.

See if a force restart helps: Force restart iPad – Apple Support (AU)

If not offload the apps and download again.

Tried both of these. No help.

This is something that happens with some iPadOS updates and normally the next one corrects it.

I just have to wait for iPadOS 16, see if it helps.
