wifi joining window not big enough

When trying to join Wifi (not at home) in a hotel or a class, after entering the password for wifi a new window will pop-up. This window will ask if you accept the terms and conditions of joining wifi, but then has another spot to click to join wifi, however this area isn't viewable in the window and the window doesn't give you the option to make it bigger or scroll down the page. It appears on my iPhone but not on MacBook

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

I believe you are referring to connecting your Mac to a "captive" network and it is not properly displaying "Captive Network Assistant" pop-up.

To try to remedy this, give the following a try:

Temporarily Turn off Wi-Fi on your notebook, then delete the following items:

  • /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
  • /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
  • /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

Then turn Wi-Fi back on and these will be rebuilt. You may have to re-enter some of your network settings.
