Request a Refund

I’ve made a purchase for an app on the App Store, and it didn’t work. From the looks of it, i think the developers abandoned the app as it isn’t updated to the newest IOS updates, but the app is still on the store for purchase. N.O.V.A 3 is the name and I’ve made a refund request a week ago. And after two days the refund has been… approved, i guess? Anyway i did check the Status of Claims and it was refunded, but I didn’t receive the money back and I’m starting to get a little worried. Everyday I check my mail and nothing changes, i check my account, nothing changes. How much longer am I required to wait for Apple to support me here for an app that doesn’t even work but is priced on the App Store. What am i doing wrong?

According to Check the status of a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support:

When will I get the money back?

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple ID balance.

Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.

All other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.
