lost phone

Hello I lost my phone about month ago but I received a text message from apple that my phone was located and had to sign into my iCloud and whom ever it was took it off from my devise and now im not able to see the phone or the location at all but I wanted to see if I can get new one because I am covered with apple until next year

Stolen/lost phone My Friend lost her phone but Someone from her contact claims that apple Apple sent a message showing that my friend phones was located somewhere is it even possible for Apple to send a message from anyone in your contact and why that person??

About apple message I lost my phone some weeks ago and I marked it as lost iPhone i got a message today that it’s been found, my question is !! Does apple send notifications once a lost iPhone is found

1. Change your Apple ID password if you haven't already.

2. Unless you have an AppleCare+ package or non-Apple insurance which covers it, you'd need to buy another at the normal price.
