Headphone Notifications Cannot be Turned Off in Canada on iPhone 14 Pro Max
- I currently have two iPhones: (i) iPhone 14 Pro Max, and (ii) iPhone 12 Pro Max. Both iPhones are on iOS 16.0.2.
- On both iPhones the Region is set to Canada (where I live).
- The issue happens only on iPhone 14 Pro Max. It does NOT happen on iPhone 12 Pro Max.
- On iPhone 14 Pro Max: Settings -> Sounds & Haptics -> Headphone Safety -> Headphone Notifications CANNOT be Turned OFF - Refer to screenshot - This is INCORRECT (for Canada).
- On iPhone 12 Pro Max: Settings -> Sounds & Haptics -> Headphone Safety -> Headphone Notifications CAN be Turned ON or OFF - Refer to screenshot - This is CORRECT (for Canada).
- To the best of my knowledge, in North America there are no regulations restricting us from being able to turn off the Headphone Notifications. It is strange that this happens on the same version of iOS, but on different phones, which suggests a bug in iOS.
- Is anyone else in the US or Canada experiencing something similar?
