Unable to add new calendar on iPad

I followed the instructions on how to add new calendar on iPad however I cannot find that option on my iPad, although I can find it on my phone. What do I do ? (It’s the 3rd gen iPad Pro, updated to iOS 15.7)

Having verified that the expected Add Calendar button is present on multiple iPads with iPadOS 15.7, your issue would suggest that the problem is not iPadOS version-related. Assuming that your iPad is not centrally managed by an enterprise, educational establishment or other third-party, there is no obvious reason for the issue that you see.

Perhaps try a forced-restart of your iPad - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Otherwise, you might be well advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page.

Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
