How to know what someone else bought

Is it possible for an Apple team member to look up what someone bought? A friend of mine bought an Apple watch recently himself, however he lost it in the ocean and I would like to buy the same watch for him as a surprise. I do not know the specific type, size, color, etc he had. and need this information... is this possible?
