Apple Watch cover

It appears a very thin layer is peeling off the face of the watch. What is this and can it be fixed?

Hi billmc46,

When your Apple Watch was packaged a film was placed which covers the watch face. This was for protection until you received the watch, and it was to be removed. Could this be what you are referring to? Some folks confuse this film with a screen protector and leave it on.

If there is something else happening with your Apple Watch, you can have a technician take a look at it.

Keep in mind, if your watch needs service, and you bring it to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, they'll need to send it in.

Take care!
