this question never gets adequately solved since 2018:
how do one clone, copy, duplicate an iOS Notes?

You are using an iPad. Unfortunately, on the iPad, the "Share Note" option is some kind of fancy sharing tool over the internet or something. Choose the "Send a Copy" option. Then choose "Copy". Then create a new node. Then paste from the clipboard. Your note is duplicated.

to copy an iOS note open the note and tap the share icon (photo 1) then select copy (photo 2)

If this is not the answer, ask the question differently
Try a quick tap in an empty space beside the word you wish to copy and choose “select” (for that one word - if you need more drag it) or “select all” for all of the note.
there is no “Share” button whatsoever anywhere. There is only a “Share Note” button.
cut-n-paste only seems to work for small amount of words or paragraph, but not for a large body of text (that may contain tables, hyperlinks, extensive formatting)

Pages app is too big of an app for this tiny iPad storage. Staying with Notes app.
I was working off the assumption that this was an iPhone since you posted in the iPhone forum so everything I posted was for iPhone. Letting us know what device you are using in the original question would help get better answers quicker.
Are you trying to clone/copy/duplicate one note or all notes?

there is no way to select a paragraph or a word in which to cut-n-paste.
#4 should say Pages not Words.
