Can I remove iphone scroll bar

Not only is it not possible, but I can’t imagine why you might possibly want this capability. Perhaps that’s because you never told us the context in which you see this scroll bar.
For example, in Safari when opening a lengthy web page, no scroll bar will even appear unless and until you choose to scroll down the page.
Yes, it only appears when I begin scrolling. When it gets near the bottom of the screen the screen content unexpectedly jumps back a page or two.
I don't use the scroll bar but perhaps I'm accidentally touching it to cause the content to jump back. This and the stock on screen keyboard are the only issues I've experienced in the year I've been an iPhone user.
Assuming you’re referring to Safari, double tapping the top edge of the screen is the gesture to quickly return to the top of a long page.
Sorry, I am talking about Safari but it happens in the Facebook and Amazon apps and Chrome browser as well.
I guess I will have to learn to use the scroll bar or learn to scroll with my left hand.
