Viber not showing notifications until opened

Hi, if you have the latest version of viber but have not updated your IOS to the latest version does it cause issues with notifications?

Viber notifications Anyone still having problems with getting notifications from Viber? I read previous complaints since 15.3 update however mine started recently when I upgraded my phone and 16.1 update. I tried what someone recommended by turning off notifications in the Viber app but not in phone Settings and this sort of worked with me getting the “number” notification on my app however not on my locked screen but then the next message I did not get until I opened the app. anyone else have any other suggestions or things that worked for them? (I removed and re-downloaded the app twice, reset my phone several times, and nothing seems to work). Spam group notifications I get 🤦🏻‍♀️. Thank you

i dont get a red dot for messages on viber app When i get a message on viber, notification shows as a banner on the top and on the lock screen. However, there's is no red dot on the viber icon, i update IOS to 16.0.3, i tried to delete the app and install it again, but still no red dot :( Also all notification are on and there's no hidden chats or anything

Ensure it runs in background.

Viber is a third party app so contact their support

It might if viber have not updated the app or if you prevented it running in the background

The app is updated but not the iOS to the latest
