How Long Is My Warranty?

I bought the new Airpods Pro two days ago, on September 26. I thought I get a standard Apple limited warranty lasting one year. Then the Apple re-seller informed me that they give me one year more after that. However, here it states that it expires on October 16, 2023 and then, one line lower, that I have 60 days remaining (today it says 61 !?). Then there is the EU legislation that dictates 3 (three) years for items bought after January 1, 2022.

So, I wonder, how long is my warranty after all?

Probably just a bug or glitch. Its technically 60 days from the date of purchase to acquire Apple Care+

For warranty, please check the terms for your specific country. It seems it varies.

I can see 3 years for Spain, but only 1 for Germany.

Again check the warranty terms at : Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple for your specific country and the specific product.

Also note, this is not Apple support, this is a user to user forum. We are just other users volunteering our time and have no inside knowledge of Apple terms and how they should apply beyond what the Warranty terms state.

The 60 days remaining are to get Apple Care+ coverage. You have 60 days to buy Apple Care+, in addition to the regular Warranty.

Warranty is usually 1 year from the date of purchase in most countries, the EU does require 3 years for most devices, but only one year for accessories it seems.

Contact the seller, and make sure the warranty is supposed to be added to the Apple warranty. Also, make sure you are looking at the warranty for the AirPods, that looks like it is the warranty for the iPhone, not the AirPods.

You can also check coverage for the AirPods here: link-> Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

Thank you very much for your prompt and kind answer. I now understand that the 60 days refer only to buying Apple Care+. You may wish to consider making it clearer (the 60 days remark does appear under the text box that covers both the Limited Warranty and the AppleCare).

Also, since I have bought the item in the EU and am a EU citizen and resident (as registered in my Apple account), shouldn't the warranty duration here reflect the date in accordance to what is legally required in my country? I will have to check the limitation for accessories that you mention, but My iPhone and iPad also indicate only one year; they are certainly not accessories, are they?

I am looking at the warranty for AirPods. Here's a screenshot of the page arrived to following a different path:

Please note the 61 days that last Monday were 60 (possibly a bug?)
