Apple Magic Mouse 2 Not Charging

I used the original cable connecting my Apple Magic Mouse 2 to the M1 MacBook Pro. Since the mouse is still connected through bluetooth, I can see its status on the MacBook. It displays charging with a lightening symbol, but the percentage will never increase.

When I unplug the charging cable, it reminds me of low battery. I tried to charge it with my iPad power adapter, the battery doesn't increase either.

The mouse is new and used for about two months.
