Photo orientation issues posting craigslist ad

I'm trying to list an ad on Craiglist, and when I upload the photos, they are sideways. The pictures were taken in portrait, not landscape so that's not the issue. I've tried rotating it 4X and I can get every orientation EXCEPT right-side-up. I've done searching and can't find a straight answer to solve this.
