Since changing to new 14 Pro, Music will not play as an alarm. The music is downloaded to the phone and plays when you select it in the Alarm setup but when the Alarm sounds it plays one of the set alarm tones not the selected song. I've tried other songs but the result is the same. Also tried adding new alarm but no difference

Contacted Apple support and went to Genius Bar - They couldn't fix it and advised to reset to factory but don't reload saved back up!!! Not an option I think.
Clearly a software clitch but unless hundreds complain Apple don't want to know.
I tried turning the ringer volume all the way down. The alarm sounds low and how I want it to sound when I preview the alarm. When the alarm goes off it blares! And this is using the sounds that come with the phone. I’ve given up on getting my music that played on my old phone to play.
I have the same issue and am on the 16.0.2. Also the alarm sounds are way louder than the sound settings on my phone. Same for the timer alarm and phone calls coming in.
