Restricted website still available

I’m going through and disabling social medias in Safari and they’ve all worked except TikTok, even though I’ve added it as a restricted website in multiple ways it still allows me to access it. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix? I’ve tried everything it seems.

Hi thebloke134679,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

To restrict TikTok from Safari, you can use content restrictions. This process will block or limit specific websites or apps from the iPhone. Here's how to complete this:

 Prevent web content
iOS and iPadOS can automatically filter website content to limit access to adult content in Safari and other apps on your device. You can also add specific websites to an approved or blocked list, or you can limit access to only approved websites. Follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions and enter your Screen Time passcode.
3. Tap Content Restrictions, then tap Web Content.
4. Choose Unrestricted Access, Limit Adult Websites, or Allowed Websites.

Depending on the access you allow, you might need to add information, like the website that you want to restrict.

This information is provided in Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

Take care.

Hello thebloke134679,

Thanks for trying that article.

Are you blocking the Tik Tok app or the website?

If it's the website, did you add it to the NEVER ALLOW list in the settings, article provided?

You might need to give the full address, such as https://www.tiktok.com/en/

If you mean the app, you need to just choose the app limits, and choose the social apps, then choose Tik Tok. Give it a 1 minute allowed each day, will block it.

Let us know if both options do not work, or if you are only talking about one or the other, and the steps given did not help. Thanks.
