How do I delete an empty album from my iPad?

Open the Photos App - and expose the sidebar (the button at top-left of the screen). With the sidebar open, tap the Edit button at top-right of the sidebar.


Next, scroll down the sidebar until you see the list of your Albums by name; next to each Album you will see a red “-“ button. This button will delete the associated album.
