pleeeeeeease how do I switch OFF Hide my email function - never wanted this, never set it, it's just there, fps!!

Hi all, never wanted this function - manage my email quite well, thank you. Never activated it, it just very annoyingly appeared perhaps with an upgrade.

How do I switch it off (fps*)?

Please advise - TIA.

I'm sure for some it's very helpful but it's a clear "thanks but no thanks from me, so kindly use the door, please....".

Nope. Thanks, but very unfortunately this doesn't help.

Have read and the closest it gets is deactivating an email created by this process.

However, that's not the case. I've not used this function at all so I can't roll that back (bit existentialist but you get my drift, I hope).

Whenever I need to enter my preferred, pre-existing email address (primarily in Safari, eg when registering for stuff, etc), rather than prefilling with this email I get asked if I want to Hide my email. Which I do not.

Still, like Robert Palmer, "looking for clues"....
