Non delivery of AirPods

I ordered air buds as a gift as I was unable to go out due to Covid/pneumonia. Little did I know that the Uber Courier driver would basically falsify delivery. Not only was I in front of my house as app showed driver route but our security camera shows no delivery. Driver was about 1 mile away, up pops delivered and driver disappears. Apple has been totally unsupportive. It has been 5 days and no resolution. Why is so difficult for them to resolve when I even have the drivers name?

Mrokircredsz You are absolutely correct that Apple is not at fault. It has been resolved. Since I encountered this issue I have seen online that I am not an isolated circumstance. However convenient courier delivery is there are unfortunately dishonest people. I was also frustrated because in contacting Apple I got the same scripted response. Apple has come through and I am grateful.
