iPhone ear speaker not working after update

It’s one apple does dislike the batteries years ago where they sent out a virus to mass peoples phones up especially if they’re paid off they mess up your phone so you will go get another one. They don’t care they give you a small little discount as long as you buy buy buy new new new.

No don’t. Get a Samsung. This is my last iPhone. I should have learned my lesson when Apple did the battery virus and now this. They have to stay in business. They have to mess the phones up so you don’t keep them long.

Yes that’s exactly what Apple does. They did it to the batteries last time killing then. I just paid mine off and now all of a sudden for no reason the speaker stopped. I have no doubt it’s Apple and their games. They don’t want you to keep a phone long. They would go out of business. This is the last iPhone I’ll ever have. I’m don’t. Samsung it is for now in.

I've been facing issues with my iPhone's ear speakerphone ever since updating to iOS 17. Even after consulting with an Apple support representative, it appears that a sensor related to the speaker is malfunctioning. The puzzling part is that my phone never experienced any physical damage, and the speaker was functioning perfectly fine prior to the update.

I considered taking it to an Apple Authorized Service Provider (iCare), but they're requesting a substantial fee just for evaluating the issue, and repairing it would incur additional costs. I must admit, I'm feeling quite frustrated at the moment.

If anyone has encountered a similar problem and has found a solution, please share it here. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

such a bogus policy of Apple to force customers to buy new after warranty is over

they don’t change only the speaker part but also the screen which is just ridiculous creating more waste and energy pollution

apple is making us fool by making there customers install the update and that update make our phone slow or any problem starts in phone , when this happened customer has to buy a phone thus increase in the sale of the company …. All this the company wants

I have tried everything, every settings i can think of to see why i cannot hear anything from the earspeaker during calls. Yes when i put music on and even listening to recordings i can hear the earspeaker is working. This is extremely annoying as when i am out i have to talk to people on loud speaker and everyone around are listening to my calls! What on earth is going on!

The earpiece speaker on my IPhone 12 Pro stopped working after I recently updated my phone to the new IOS 17.2 There have been not settings changes, no physical damage and YES, I’ve already tried every single ‘fixing sound issues’ article on Apple Support along with YouTube. None of those things worked. Please Apple resolve my issue.

I’ve been using Apple 11. From today morning its speakers suddenly stopped working out of nowhere. I even updated the software, formatting has also been done but then also nothing has changed. Plus phone is constantly hanging even after clearing enough space from the storage. Kindly resolve the issue.

My earpiece speaker would make a buzzing/static noise every time an audio played. When I would call someone, I would have to put them on speaker because if it was through the earpiece, it was all static

i have an iPhone 13 and started to have the same issue after updating to iOS 17. It just blows my mind that after 2 years this is still an ongoing issue.

Apple, please provide a solution! I had this phone for less than a year and I can’t even get this fixed without paying a hefty price because my apple care warranty expired….

Exactly the same issue. No damage. Happened after the update.

Took it into the Genius Bar who admitted there was a global fault with the displays that would've been replaced had I not missed out on the 2 years offer. I now have to go back to my network provider and argue with them.

I've been an Apple customer for over 30 years. Each year and product I purchase from them brings me severe dissatisfaction. Very deceitful way of operating.

It is not the phone sound, it is that the sound does not come through the earphones which are only 9 months old!

Is it fixed for you??
