How do you Rotate the Studio Display?

How do you rotate an Apple Studio Display?

This setting used to be in the display settings, and still is from what I can see on other displays. It looks like it’s removed specifically for Apple displays.

I can even rotate my Samsung display in the usual fashion, just in Display Prefs. But with my Apple display it is just not there. Photos below with shots of prefs.

I saw recommendations for a synaptics app but that seems to be a scam/spam comment. Unless someone can SHOW me how to do this with that app.

Can you truly not rotate a $1500 display when I could go buy one for $100 and do it?

I feel crazy here. Please someone help.

Rotation of the screen is automatic when it detects the display has been rotated.

Note the rotation to portrait mode must occur in a clockwise direction.

You cannot rotate with the Apple stands (well, you can, but the stand will remain attached.)

Of course the VESA option allows the use of VESA stands that support rotation.
