Notes and Quick Notes

What's the difference between Notes and Quick Notes? You can access them both from control centre. And they both are just _notes_. Yes, you can show your recent note in lock screen now (as a Quick Note), which is super, but why not just show a recent Note on lock screen? Now I don't see a reason not to move all my Notes to Quick Notes, if I can access them quicker. So, I'm very confused what do I do with Notes AND Quick Notes...

Hi Pertti664,

It sounds like you had some questions about Quick Notes and we want to help.

Quick Notes is a category of Notes in your Notes app.

Quick Notes allow you to quickly jot down information over the top of another app, as seen here:

Hello Pertti664,

Are you using safari in private browsing? Does the issue persist in non private browsing as well? Please check this out for information about private browsing:

When you highlight text in Safari or add a link from an app, you see a Quick Note thumbnail next time you visit the site, taking you right to what you were viewing before.
