Messages AutoPlay Videos with sound macos

There is no mute button on the videos that are being sent via messages, and the videos are auto playing on a loop with sound which is extremely annoying! Actually starting to drive me crazy, they also play randomly and some start playing simultaneously... The mute button is on the iOS devices but not on MacOS...

Any solutions?????
