After upgrading to 12.6, forward delete key on bluetooth keyboard no longer works

Hello,

I upgraded my MacBook Pro to Monetary 12.6 this morning, but have found the forward delete key on my wireless Logitech keyboard no longer works. I use this feature all the time while coding and was wondering how I can re-enable it?

Prior to updating, I never had to set anything up for it. I connected the keyboard via bluetooth and it immediately worked. Now it is unresponsive. I checked in 'System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Input Sources' and see the location of the del key is greyed out. I hadn't checked this before now, so I don't know if it was or wasn't prior to the update.

Hello brennen50,

For help with a third-party keyboard you can double-check your settings with the steps found in the article here: If your Mac doesn’t respond to key presses - Apple Support

As you've tested the input sources and see the key is greyed out, you may want to test disconnecting and reconnecting.

Work with wireless accessories - Apple Support

Should the issue continue, reach out to the manufacture to check for any firmware updates. Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support
