Removing text abbreviations

i can’t seem to remove some text abbreviations I set up. The reply about going to the computer and removing them is not specific. What website am I supposed to do this on?

Settings > General > Keyboards > Text Replacement.

How do I bypass text replacements on Mac? In MacOS Ventura 13.7.4 when typing text, usually in Safari, so perhaps a Safari problem(?), when I type words that aren't recognized the system offers a replacement, usually wrong, and the word is replaced before I can click the mouse to disable it. Very annoying. I make an effort to teach the system my southern slang, but it appears to be devoid of patience. To be clear, I don't want to disable text replacement, I just want the control to DECIDE if I want to use the suggestion. I'll have to check if it happens on my MacBook Pro. Thank you
