My iPhone is having Bluetooth pairing issue with my Toyota Prius.

My iPhone 13pro max have Bluetooth pairing issue with my car Toyota Prius (19 plate), which works well with my old iPhone 11pro max. The guy at Genius Bar told me that my car is not compatible with my iPhone as it is old! Showing me the page of CarPlay which is only supporting Toyota Prius from 2020 onwards. But my case is Bluetooth pairing issue NOT CarPlay ! Really disappointed for this experience.

There is nothing anyone here can do to help as we are all other users here. To me, it makes sense that you cannot pair it if it will not work even if you paired it. If you could pair it, it would work. The best thing for you is to contact your car dealer and check with them to make sure. A simple Google search found thi s

Unfortunately, we cannot help since we are all other users here. I would guess though that if the car is not compatible due to age, pAiring will not work either. It is not helpful to have it paired but it is not usable.

Thanks for reply. The car is 3 years old. It is a 2019 Toyota Prius.
