hosts file

I'm trying to add ip and domain to hosts file and it will NOT save! Help

This is a protected system file that can only be modified by the root, or "super" user. You need to use the Terminal, with the "sudo" command to edit the file.


Why do you want to change it? Usually, people who have a legitimate need to modify this file already know now to do so. Are you trying to follow some instructions you found on the internet? That can be very dangerous.


What are you trying to do?
