This is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple. We are volunteers here and bound by the same rules that you agreed to when we joined here. Apple does not support users rolling back the iOS version and provides no user accessible means to do so. There are millions and millions of people using iOS 16.0.2 and not having the issues you are having so the problem is probably your phone and not the update. But you can always click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page and have an Apple Support person tell you that you can't roll back but perhaps they can help you with your issues. Or you can use your favorite search engine. Your choice.

What part of we are just users on a user to user only forum and Apple doesn't support downgrading iOS to begin with, don't you understand? You may own the phone. You don't own iOS and once you update you can't go backwards.

So what do you do? You determine what is causing your issues and not argue with other users demanding something no one can give you.

At this point, it's kind of pointless trying to offer assistance to you. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and let Apple help you. But one thing they WON'T offer you is a path backward in iOS.

Only YOU can change the version. If you truly think that iOS 16.0.2 did this use your favorite search engine to find ways to go back to iOS 16.0.1 but you will have to hurry, it won't remain signed for long.

Please list everything you have tried so far. And you didn't answer my question about how long it has been on your iPhone.
