Search feature on iTunes

I recently upgraded my Mac mini from 2011 to a new 2022 model. I was disappointed to find that they have changed the iTunes Store and dropped the Search feature. How can I search on the new iTunes Store? I do not subscribe to the Music service and do not plan to.

Open the Music app and click in the Search bar on the top of the sidebar on the left hand side of the screen, just above your list of playlists (or you can hit the command button and f key at the same time) – this will initiate a search. Type your search criteria into the search bar. If it only shows results from your library (of which there may be none), go to the top right of the Music app’s window and click where it says “iTunes Store” – that should do it.
